Description

We are looking for an Event Program Manager to join our team of engineers, PhDs, and investment managers in Madrid. The candidate will be responsible for planning event programs and agendas, identifying and coordinating with speakers and other industry contacts. 

 

This position is ideal for someone who is involved in the Deep Tech ecosystem and has experience in planning the program and speaker lineups for other related Deep Tech and innovation events and summits. 

 

The Event Program Manager will be responsible for curating an event agenda that highlights the latest breakthroughs and insights in Deep Tech, including but not limited to AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech, space tech, and more. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including speakers, sponsors, and industry partners, to ensure the event delivers exceptional thought leadership and networking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: 

​

  • Program Development: Design and structure the summit agenda, ensuring a diverse mix of keynotes, panel discussions and sessions.

  • Speaker Management: Identify, invite, and coordinate with  speakers, including deep tech entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, corporations and policymakers.

  • Content Strategy: Ensure that the event program aligns with the latest industry trends and addresses critical challenges and opportunities in deep tech

Desired Background
  • Master’s degrees in management, communication, marketing, etc. - desirable 

  • At least 3- 5 years of work experience in event planning or in related field

  • Experience with planning and managing programs and content for similar types of events such as Hello Tomorrow and South Summit 

  • Fluent in English (C1+) and Spanish (C1+), writing and speaking
